Other Editorial Cartoon sites

Daryl Cagle's Political Cartoonists Index
This is a really, really cool site that features daily-updating editorial cartoons from all of America's top cartoonists, as well as a bunch of Canadian and international ones. I visit it constantly.

Graeme MacKay at the Hamilton Spectator
Grame easily gets my vote as the best editorial cartoonist in Canada. His cartoons are well-drawn, insightful, independent, and often hilarious. He's also a really cool guy, so check out his site.

Artisans
A cool site where you can browse all the recent editorial cartoons from Canadian cartoonists. It's supposed to be a "buying" site, however, so they all have watermarks. Still cool though.

Cox and Forkum
Cox and Forkum are these two Randian-Objectionist types who make amusing right-wing editorial cartoons. They're more popular than me, so I'm jealous.

Day by Day
Day by Day is the other big, well-known online editorial cartoon. It's been described as the "conservative Doonesbury" because the format is very similar, though the ideology is not. It's quite well-written and is defiantly worth a look.

Good webcomics by people I know:

A silly violent comic about Ninjas by friend David from Utah.

A cyncial comic about cynicism by friend Nix from Ontario.

A very well-drawn story-based comic by friend Sam, who is from British Columbia just like me!

A random "life episode" comic by friend Angela, who is also from BC. The comic is just a small part of the website overall, which has a lot of interesting things to see.

Good webcomics by people I don't (really) know:

Delightful Swedish humor.

Random nonsense with charming art.

Really brilliant satire.

More random nonsense

I dare say the best looking webcomic out there.

Hilarious commentary on the motion-pictures of to-day.

My favorite "traditional" webcomic (ie: it's about nerds and video games).

Other Art Sites:

Jordi Peters - the homepage of my good friend Jordi, from Holland. He's an amazing cartoonist.
Deviant Art- a great site to check out the works of other online artists. This link is to my page.

Other Sites I frequent:

Rulers.org- the ultimate resource for political leaders
Wikipeida- a great resource if you can stand the weirdness of the people who run it. Be sure to check out the "filibuster cartoons" page.
Mathew White's Homepage- Mathew has made all sorts of cool charts and maps. He inspired a lot of this site. Also, check out his Wikiwatch blog.
Citizens for a Canadian Republic- one of my favorite political causes
The Mushroom Kingdom- Mario fansite. I've helped out here for many years.
Snopes- debunking urban myths and internet rumors
Lewis Holden's Guide to New Zealand- a fun guide inspired by my own guide to Canada
