Things I wrote while in Japan

For the duration of the calendar year of 2009 I am set to reside in the fabulous Empire of Japan, where I work as a teacher of English at a private tutoring school.

Occasionally I write notes on Facebook about things I see and do here, but I have been encouraged to publish my notes on this site as well, so that more may read.

I do so with hesitancy, as I know it’s rather cliche to go to Japan and blog giddily about it. But living in Japan has brought out many emotions, and giddiness has not yet been one, so hopefully my perspectives will be a bit different.
