Well my predictions were way off, along with most of Canada’s. Plucky young Justin Trudeau actually ended up walloping Conservative Senator Patrick Brazeau in their big charity fight last night, with the ref calling the match in the third round. Apparently it was all about stamina; Brazeau quickly tired himself out by coming on too strong too fast, while Trudeau’s endurance proved to be his greatest asset.
So now we’ve got a fresh new perspective on event the press has already thoroughly methaphored the crap out of. Maybe the Liberals aren’t such hapless, doddering weaklings after all. Just give them time, and they’ll eventually come from behind and turn the Tories’s own strength into a form of counterattack.
Or something.

Why can't everyone get over the fact that the cartridge is Sonic and Knuckles? Between this and the previous comic, there were something like 9 (?) comments to that effect.
For this comic, the answer has to be "to match round 1." I imagine the answer for round 1 was "Because it's funny." Now leave it alone, world!

That makes a modicum of sense (I missed that), but the reason I was really confused is because I expected a game out of the top of it, like "Parl Fighter 2: The Canadian Warrior" or something like that.

I really just thought it was an incredibly subtle in-joke that most people wouldn't notice. But I was wrong!
