Why can't everyone get over the fact that the cartridge is Sonic and Knuckles? Between this and the previous comic, there were something like 9 (?) comments to that effect.
For this comic, the answer has to be "to match round 1." I imagine the answer for round 1 was "Because it's funny." Now leave it alone, world!

That makes a modicum of sense (I missed that), but the reason I was really confused is because I expected a game out of the top of it, like "Parl Fighter 2: The Canadian Warrior" or something like that.

I really just thought it was an incredibly subtle in-joke that most people wouldn't notice. But I was wrong!
