A great deal of shock, shock occurred this week when Chinese forces aggressive clamped down on some protesting Tibetans. Details are sketchy, but a great number of people have been arrested and / or beaten up, with at least a couple dozen dead.
With just a few months before the Olympics, everyone is tut-tuting. Wasn’t this the sort of thing China was supposed to not be doing anymore? Didn’t they promise?
Oh wait, they didn’t? Never mind.
