The British Prince Harry is all set to be deployed to Iraq to fight- an event which is more or less occurring on his explicit orders. Harry has been in the army for quite some time now, and he recently quipped “There’s no way I’m going to put myself through Sandhurst and then sit on my arse back home while my boys are out fighting for their country.
The timing is a bit ironic, as Tony Blair has recently been saying that he intends to reduce the British troop presence in Iraq by at least 1,600 in the next couple of months, withdrawing the superfluous and only keeping the most vital.
And one wonders in which category Prince Harry falls.
