Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was up in Canada last week for a 9-11 anniversary summit with Foreign Minister Peter MacKay. The two spent a lot of time together, going on various folksy outings and photo-ops in MacKay’s native Nova Scotia.
In the aftermath of the visit all the gossip rags are now a-twitter that the couple may have struck up something of a romantic relationship during their little get-together. Both are single, conservative foreign ministers, after all (at least on the surface). I’d like to think a sophisticated woman like Condi could do better, though.
