Iraq seems to be edging ever closer to a full-out civil war these days. Last week some Sunni terrorists bombed the Asqariya Shrine, which is one of the holiest sites of the Shiite people. Needless to say, this has not bee a great boon for inter-fath relations.
I find it all a bit absurd though. At the heart of it all you’re having Arab Muslims fighting other Arab Muslims, all in the name of a very minor theological difference.
