Canada’s former foreign minister is Lloyd Axworthy. He is often regarded as somewhat of a statesman figure in the Canadian media and Liberal Party.
But then he publishes this snarky sarcastic letter to the US Secretary of State and all illusions are broken. It’s quite pathetic really. Especially when he refers to the US as a “defacto one-party state” which is of course quite amusing to hear from a Canadian. Read it all here
