In all, eight members of Bush’s cabinet have resigned since he was re-elected. Among them was Don Evans, the Commerce Secretary. Bush wants to see him replaced by Carlos Gutierrez, the CEO of Kellog’s, makers of such fine cerals as Cornflakes and All-Bran.
And of course we cartoonists have responded by making a bunch of cheap jokes.
