In the last couple of years, the Labour-run government of the United Kingdom has churned out all sorts of “studies” and “committees” recommending the abolishment of a whole host of traditional British things, some of which are in the list in this toon. The last thing to fall out of favor are Knighthoods, which the Labourites deem too “elitist.”
I’d like to visit the UK someday, but at this rate by the time I visit all of the quaint British charms will be gone. I may as well just stay in Canada.
