Prescription drugs in America are expensive. Apparently too expensive for many senior citizens in the United States to afford. In recent years quick-thinking seniors have in turn chosen to purchase drugs from Canada, where we offer them at considerably lower prices.
Needless to say, the big US drug firms don’t like this. In an attempt to stop seniors from being smart consumers, they have spread all these lies about Canadian drugs being more “dangerous” and “unreliable.” More than a few politicians have bought into this, too. It’s absurd when you consider the fact that most Canadian drugs are made by the very same US companies, but just charge less.
Luckily, Congress appears to be wising up to this reality.
