I’m sure you all heard about the violence in Falluja over this last week. It was quite horrific, with American civilian bodies being badly mutilated and paraded and dragged through the streets to gleeful cheers.
I know we’re not supposed to be “paternalistic” or patronizing to these people, but you have to wonder if one some level, they have inherent problems far greater than we’ll ever be able to fully solve.
