Fidel Castro is growing more insane and paranoid in his old age. While delivering a 5 1/2 hour(!) speech last week, he proclaimed that he will “die fighting” in his assumed US invasion of Cuba.
You know, sometimes you just gotta step back and realize how fundamentally bizarre this situation is. I mean, we have the President of an island, who came to power three decades ago, and is still in power. And he has a long gray beard, smokes cigars, and wears the same damn green outfit 365 days a year. Castro is really a cartoon character on his own.
