In the aftermath of that terrible Iranian earthquake that killed tens of thousands, some serious questions are being leveled against Iran’s theocratic government.
The city of Bam, where the earthquake hit was a known trouble spot that was largely out of bounds in the days of the Shah. But when the Islamists took control, the city became primo real-estate for developers with ties to the government who needed a place to build their shoddy housing.
And now we see the results.
