In the last few days the Bush administration has been increasing the rhetoric against Syria, and Syrian president Assad. Syria’s a known holder of chemical weapons, although unlike Saddam they never lost a war that forced them to give them up. They also support a variety of terrorist groups, mostly in Israel.
Some fear Syria could be next on the chopping block of regime change, but I seriously doubt it.
