As the ever important Security Council vote on Iraq looms, the permanent members have been struggling to buy the allegiance of the 6 so-called “swing vote” countries. They include Mexico, Chile, Cameroon, Guinea, Angola, and Pakistan.

With the possibly exception of Pakistan, none of these countries really care much about Iraq’s future, so their allegiance is surprisingly easy to win over.
