American / Canadian relations, already frosty, took a turn for the worse yesterday when a member of the Canadian NATO envoy called President Bush a “moron”.
The American government is tired of Canada’s lax attitude towards border security, and cracking down on Canadian-based terrorist cells.
Canada’s government, on the other hand, is still bitter over America’s selfish handling of a lumber trade dispute, and a perceived lack of appreciation for Canada’s military contributions in Afghanistan.
