Former President Jimmy Carter won the Nobel Peace Prize yesterday, becoming the third American president in history to do so.
I’ve always liked Jimmy Carter. He’s very honest and caring, and he has a strong passion for human rights and democracy.
His presidency crashed and burned, I admit, but the work he’s done since 1981 has more than made up for his past mistakes.
