Well, the Canadian Prime Minister has finally fired Paul Martin, the successful and popular finance Minister.

There are now only three ministers left who have any intention of succeeding Chretien.

Alan Rock, John Manley, and Sheila Copps. They’ve all been pretty quiet lately, for obvious reasons.
