Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chretien has announced that he plans to run for reelection as Liberal Party leader, and thus maintain his job as Prime Minister.

Of course, this comes as a surprise to no one in Canada, as Chretien is the most power-hunger Prime Minister in recent history. Of course, he’ll have to stay in power for 13 more years if he wants to beat the current record.

The character on the left in this comic is Finance Minister Paul Martin. He is expected to succeed Chretien when and if he finally resigns.
