Today’s cartoon is a bit of a cop-out, I know,
but I’m getting a bit sick of everyone complaining about patriotism.
I mean, nothing is good in excess but at the same time there’s nothing wrong with feeling good about your country. One of the goals of the founding fathers was to create a country we’d be proud to live in. The rules they laid down many years ago have given us the freedoms that have made the US so great.
So there’s nothing wrong with celebrating your nation and being thankful for all it represents.
