87% of US college students say they plan to vote in next week's election, and the pollsters are predicting the highest youth turnout since 1972. The students are said to heavily favor Kerry, by a margin of 52 to 39 percent.

Could this dramatic surge of young voters end up swinging the election?

The correct answer is no, of course not.
